Los Suenos Marina is on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica in Herradura Bay. It is the only Government sanctioned marina in Costa Rica and is privy to some of the most plentiful game fish in the world. This full service international Marina has 200 slips for vessels up to 180 feet in length. For the under 35 foot crowd, there are 100 dry dock spots available. The official ports of entry into Costa Rica are Golfito, Quepos, Caldera, Puntarenas, Playa del Coco or Punta Morales. Los Suenos Marina is an official port of entry, but you must meet with official government representatives after making an appointment ahead of time.

The Marina also has your food and beverage desires covered after a day of trolling, casting and hooking up. Speak of the devil, the Hook Up sports bar and grill is definitely where you can find some wildlife out of the water, and they don’t bite……hard.

Los Suenos has plenty of Sportfishing Tournaments for the competitive angler. The Billfish series has a reputation as the most esteemed Sportfishing tournament in Central America much less Costa Rica. The Los Suenos Signature Billfish Series Leg II this March just broke ALL the Los Suenos Tournament Records. These sporting anglers released 1,057 Billfish which made the average release number per vessel over 30 fish. Now that’s what we’re talkin’ about right there.
